In order to avoid damage and protect people's life and property safety, large outdoor buildings such as iron towers, bridges, etc. require long-term information collecting of its vibration state and its state under hostile weather conditions. The on-site inspection alone will lead to huge workload, failure of real-time data information collecting and the existence of blind spots since there is a great number of products requiring information collecting and the inspection site is rather dangerous. After a communication module is added to the detection terminal, the data acquired by the terminal can be real-time sent back to the Information collecting Center via the communication module. And the Information collecting Center will perform analysis according to the practical data, arrange manpower to carry out survey and maintenance at specific locations requiring maintenance. This can greatly reduce human cost and increase personnel utilization rate. 

Terminals are required to be powered by batteries due to the severe outdoor environment and lack of independent power lines, so the communication module need to support the outdoor environment with large temperature difference, and support low power operation and standby to ensure long-term operation with the battery.

MG2639 supports the temperature between -40° and +80°, which is adaptable to various kinds of hostile environments. Meanwhile, the standby power consumption is around 3mA so it can meet the requirements of battery work time to the largest extent. The LCC (stamp-hole) encapsulation can solve the problem of oxidation occurred due to the frequent change of temperature and humidity.
