In August 16th, Singapore launched a program where the first "students use smart watchesto buy things without cash payment in primary school ",Education Minister(Higher Education and Skills) Ong Ye Kung attended theconference. He said :"While digital payments could be convenient,some maybe worried about going cashless.For some of the elderly,they are concerned. Aswe move more towards electronic payments,everything electronic,can they getused to it? So it's a process that we must manage carefully."

POSB Bank Singapore launched the “SmartBuddy” Program, which provided 6,000 smart watches to students in 19 primaryschools. When students buy things with smart watches in the canteens,vending machines or stationery shops, there’s no need to pay cashbecause they can complete the payment just by tapping thewatches against payment terminal ,which is very convenience.GosuncnWelink's LTEmodules provide the data connectivity link.
