PTCRB is another important certification ZM8620 obtained in the worldwide besides FCC, CE and RoHS certifications. It marks that ZM8620 has obtained market access qualification approved by the North American operators.

PTCRB, also known as Operators Recognition Testing, was established in 1997 as the review board of the PCS Type Certification by North American cellular operators. PTCRB utilizes a third party testing system that all PCS terminal products need to be certified by PTCRB before placed on the market. ZM8620 has successfully passed PTCTB RF and nearly 5000 protocol-related testing items within two months before obtain the certification.
ZM8620 is based on Qualcomm’s most matured platform MDM9215 and with an ARM Cortex?-A5 processor. It supports LTE CAT3 standard (UL 100Mbps/DL 50Mbps) and backwards compatible to WCDMA/HSPA+.
ZM8620 is a LTE module in standard Mini PCI Express form factor and it supports quad-band LTE-FDD/LTE-TDD/UMTS/GSM. and it enables customers to easily design their products as well as deploy the products worldwide.
According to different application regions, ZM8620 has Eurasian version and Latin America version. The former ones support LTE FDD 2100/1800/900/2600/800MHz and LTE TDD Band40 while the latter ones support LTE FDD 2100/1900 /1700/850/900/2600/700MHz and LTE TDD Band38. ZM8620 provides the M2M customers with stable and reliable mobile broadband data access and it is suitable for CPE, industrial routers, M2M gateways, telemedicine and security and surveillance, etc..
