Shenzhen GosuncnWelink Technology Co., LTD (shortly referred to as GosuncnWelink) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZTE Corporation. MC8332 module, previously launched by GosuncnWelink, has become one of the Star products in the field of modules, and has been widely used in multiple industries such as Power market, Security and surveillance, Data transmission, Financial POS machine, Healthcare, etc. With the development of wearable products, it has raised higher requirements on the size and power consumption of wireless communication modules. GosuncnWelink has recently launched a type of compact CDMA module MC8618 based on Qualcomm's QSC1110 platform. The module supports CDMA2000 1X 800MHz. With stamp-hole encapsulation, the module's size is just 22mm*20mm and the weight is 4g.

MC8618 module mainly features in small bulk, low consumption, simple design and various functions.

MC8618 is targeted for application scenarios with strict requirements on dimensions and power consumption, e.g., for those products requiring battery power and long standby time. Adhering to the design concept of "To Be the Simplest", the module has removed related level match circuits from the hardware design to decrease the number of components; meanwhile it adopts highly-efficient power inductors to further lower the product consumption and reduce the average standby current to 2mA.

GosuncnWelink modules provide various functions including FOTA, TTS, PTT, Openlink, etc; in order to speed up the product development, MC8618 supports HTTP protocol, which means it can send Get and Post request of HTTP protocol through AT commands; meanwhile MC8618 supports LBS function to realize the GPS function within 100 meters; it can also send MMS through AT commands and greatly shorten the development period for the applications requiring transmission of photos, audios and videos.

MC8618 module's sensitivity reaches -108dBm, which is better than its counterpart in the market. MC8618 has defined rich interfaces according to different application scenarios. Besides wearable products, sports and healthcare products, MC8616 can be widely used in many fields, such as Vehicle-mounted surveillance, Repeater surveillance, Power metering system, Financial POS machine, Medical information collecting, Security and surveillance, Environment protection and water conservancy, etc.

MC8618 has adapted to multiple types of wearable products. GosuncnWelink has developed another type of GSM module MG2618, which is compatible with MC8618 through P2P, in order to make it convenient for clients to quickly switch between product systems.
